Earth Day Cefalù 2026

On the occasion of the 56th Earth Day, to be held on April 22, 2026—the largest international environmental event celebrating Planet Earth and promoting its protection—the 12th edition of Earth Day Cefalù will take place from Wednesday, April 22 to Sunday, April 26. It will be an intense five-day program, coinciding with the April 25 holiday period, dedicated to nature, sports, art, culture, leisure, and entertainment for children.

The event is organized by the Municipality of Cefalù, under the patronage of Earth Day Italia.

In addition to being an environmental awareness initiative, Earth Day Cefalù is also a major showcase of sporting, artistic, and cultural activities.

A long weekend featuring the release of sea turtles along the seafront and of kestrels and seagulls in the Rocca Urban Park, horseback experiences at the Bordonaro estate, guided nature excursions, art installations, environmental awareness campaigns in schools, an exhibition on the beauty of Nature at the Ottagono Santa Caterina, themed seminars, a temporary garden in Piazza Duomo, and free roaming performances as well as shows at Teatro Cicero.
